Olives

This word of prophecy was written by a participant in the February 2008 24x7 Prayer Room in preparation for the Deanery Planning Weekend.


“Stockton Deanery, you are an olive tree,
each part as large and important as the other,
no distinct trunk or branch. It's the leaves and the fruit
that are important.

“You are a tree that has been grafted in so that you produce
black, green and purple olives, large and small olives. Some
of the harvest is going to be jarred, some tinned, some fresh,
some pitted, some natural, some in salt water, some in oil.

“You are so diverse, but each needs to pray and seek their unique
combination of harvesting and identity. * YOU MUST NOT THINK
THAT DIVERSITY IS STAYING HOW YOU ARE RIGHT NOW,
MOVEMENT BY EVERYONE WILL BE NEEDED. *”

Olives are things that are an acquired taste; people love or hate them,
God loves them. They are exquisite food, a beautiful food, and many
are going to come to love and join the church which is the olive tree.

To get the oil for anointing of the Holy Spirit, squeezing needs to happen.
The Lord says, “Let me do this, let me squeeze pain and old hurts out.
Blockages of shame I will remove. I want to see you rise up
in CONFIDENCE - you are a beautiful olive tree, beautiful!
You are not any old plant, you're not common, you are exquisite,
you are lovely, you are expensive, you are my delight.
Be who you were made to be. Rise up, and let me show you
those black, green and purple fruits that are yours to BEAR.”
