Main content

Powered by JoomlaWe are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We actively seek to ensure the accessibility and usability of our website and to adhere to industry-standards and guidelines.

World Wide Web Consortium Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 logo

To make that commitment real, we use the Joomla content management system which helps us maintain consistency, together with a customised version of the Zhong template framework developed by accessibletemplate. The Zhong template framework was developed in accordance with World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 guidelines, aiming to satisfy all priority 1, 2 and 3 checkpoints and achieve at least AA level. (The WCAG guidelines set out how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, but conformance helps make the web more user friendly for all.)

The site has been built using code compliant with W3C standards for HTML and CSS. It displays correctly in current browsers - on PCs, tablets and mobile devices. It is also designed to work effectively with screen readers. Using standards compliant HTML/CSS code means that future browsers should also display it correctly.Whilst we strive to adhere to the accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility and usability, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website. In the meantime should you experience any difficulty in accessing the website, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
